Justin,

I appreciate your concern for me. And while you are certainly entitled to your opinions, I would just point out that your statement reveals your own presuppositions and thereby informs your logical argument: (belief in a creator God→who created our identities →which means we can’t “reconstruct” our own).

The other point I’d like to make is this: why are you so confident that your belief in Christ “grounds your identity” and “gives you meaning”? If, for example, the Gospels were shown to be historically inaccurate or biased, then all of that certitude falls apart.
