I suppose that for you, Christianity is working. In reading your responses, it’s interesting how you’ve apparently gone over the available evidence of the historicity of the gospels, etc., and found all of it compelling enough to want to be a Christian.

In my studies in both Bible college and seminary, I found that there were indeed a lot of questions about the sources and origins of the Bible, as well as the transmission history of the texts over the centuries. At the time I suppressed the doubts I had, but now I don’t have to live with the resulting cognitive dissonance.
